Wrapping Up “Sense of Place” LA at Capitol Studios on World Cafe – Friday at 2pm

Capitol Records sunsetToday, World Cafe wraps up the “Sense of Place” series in Los Angeles – And we’re going clubbing. Host Raina Douris heads to downtown L.A. to check out the all-ages music and art venue, The Smell, which helped launch the careers of bands like Best Coast and No Age. Then, a visit to perhaps the city’s most recognizable musical landmark, Capitol Studios, where so many icons have recorded, from Nat King Cole to Britney Spears.
