Tank and the Bangas Perform Live on the Next World Cafe – Tuesday at 2pm

tank bangas nprTank and the Bangas were the unanimous winners of NPR Music’s 2017 Tiny Desk Contest. This band is full of musical surprises, and frontwoman Tank stretches her voice in wild ways. They’ll talk about how they pull it off in a conversation with host Talia Schlanger today, and we’ll hear the story of their recent television debut on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Plus, Tank and the Bangas perform music from their new album, Green Balloon, live on the next World Cafe.
