Sense of Place Virgina Wraps Up with David Wax Museum and Lowland Hum on World Cafe – Friday at 2pm

david wax wcWorld Cafe's Sense of Place trip to Charlottesville, Virginia wraps up with local bands David Wax Museum and Lowland Hum, who have created a unique way to experience music. For their project, called Concert in the Blind, the audience is blindfolded to heighten their sense of hearing, as musicians wander through the crowd. A live World Cafe audience experiences one of these performances today. Then, Desiré Moses of WNRN in Charlottesville tips us off to some emerging artists coming out of central Virginia.
