Even if you’re not familiar with Jonathan Wilson’s music, you've probably heard his work before. As an established producer, he’s helped to revitalize the Laurel Canyon music scene through his work with artists like Dawes and Father John Misty in his California studio. But Jonathan left L.A. and went back to his Southern roots to record his new album, Dixie Blur, in Nashville. Today, he explains why he made that decision, thanks in part to Steve Earle. And Jonathan performs some of the new music, live. Coming up, on the next World Cafe with host Raina Douris.
World Cafe airs weekdays at 2:00 pm on KRCB-FM Radio 91 / streaming @ norcalpublicmedia.org / Listen live on-the-go with the FREE KRCB Mobile App! Download it today for your favorite mobile device.
