Bluegrass up-and-comer, Molly Tuttle, released her full-length debut in April, called When You’re Ready. It established her imaginative songwriting abilities alongside her already renowned playing – She was the first woman in history to be named Guitar Player of the Year by the International Bluegrass Music Association, an accolade she’s now earned twice. Today, we’ll hear her live set from Nashville at this year's Americana Music Festival, including a gorgeous version of “Cold Rain and Snow,” a folksong popularized by the Grateful Dead. That's coming up, on the next World Cafe with host Raina Douris.
World Cafe airs weekdays at 2:00 pm on KRCB-FM Radio 91 / streaming @ norcalpublicmedia.org / Listen live on-the-go with the FREE KRCB Mobile App! Download it today for your favorite mobile device.
