Since their 2008 debut record, which included the hit song “Ain’t No Rest For the Wicked,” Cage the Elephant has become one of the biggest bands in rock, not to mention a cannot-miss live show. Leading up to their latest album, Social Cues, the band faced some trying events – Lead singer Matt Shultz’s divorce, as well as the passing of a few friends. Matt and his brother, guitarist Brad Shultz, join host Stephen Kallao today to talk about the music that came out of that difficult period, and Cage the Elephant perform live in the studio. On an encore edition of the World Cafe.
World Cafe airs weekdays at 2:00 pm on KRCB-FM Radio 91 / streaming @ norcalpublicmedia.org / Listen live on-the-go with the FREE KRCB Mobile App from the App Store & Google Play.
