It’s been uncovered that religious conservative groups have been purchasing Facebook ads against the Equality Act that contain outright false statements - and these ads appear to violate Facebook’s own anti-hate policies. 

In the Bay Area, the San Francisco Fire Department is facing three new lawsuits filed in the last three months by LGBTQ members of the department alleging discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity, and race.  

And the region’s longest-running LGBTQ newspaper, The Bay Area Reporter, celebrates 50 years this coming week of covering LGBTQ news and activism over the last 5 decades.
