Gothic rock, sometimes called Death Rock, is known for its obsession with death, horror and generally macabre lyrics. Musically, goth draws from punk, glam, art rock, dance, psychedelic and world music. We'll also look back at the roots of goth with Nico, The Velvet Underground, and The Doors.
