The Master Gardener program is a volunteer organization associated with the University of California Cooperative Extension. Their mission is to provide educational and outreach programs that meet Napa county residents’ horticultural, pest management and sustainable landscape needs using research-based knowledge and information.

This website was created by the Napa County Agricultural Commissioner’s Office and the Napa Local Food Advisory Council (LFAC) to provide an easy way for Napa residents and visitors to find locally grown, sustainable food, learn more about local food resources and come together as a community to support the local farm system.

Provides facilitators, process designers and project management in food systems and natural resource management. They are dedicated to creating a food system that creates economic prosperity.

The mission of Community Seed Exchange is to create a grassroots community seed bank that supports Sonoma County gardeners with free, locally grown, open-pollinated, pesticide and GMO-free seeds. More information at:




Works to help small and medium-scale farms to be viable, ecologically-minded, and happy in their vocation. They help farmers buy things like input, supplies, services, value-added products, CSA deliveries. FarmsReach provides practical tools, services, and connections so farmers can learn from each other and optimize their operations.
