Teen Alex Cho is an avid East Bay birder, photographer and artist who says birdwatching is contagious. His parents Brenda and Richard concur, as they have joined son Alex on many outings. Bay Area Bountiful joins them for a winter birding adventure at Fremont's Coyote Hills Regional Park on a beautiful cold morning. Alex keeps close track of his sightings with the popular iBird app. He also uses photographs and sketches to record what he sees: an abundance of wildlife which is present and active at this fascinating time of year.
