Flag in the Map: Charting Rainbow Flag Stories

"Flag in the Map" is a remarkable collection of photographs and stories celebrating the universal power of the Rainbow Flag to inspire LGBTQ+ individuals, particularly in countries where their existence is under threat. This collection showcases narratives from LGBTQ+ people around the world, highlighting the iconic Rainbow Flag created by Gilbert Baker.

This Flag in the Map exhibition was hosted by Napa Valley College for the community on October 6, 2023. The program includes an exhibition tour and a conversation with Charley Beal, President of the Gilbert Baker Foundation, and Cleve Jones, who also contributed to the flag's creation. They discuss the global impact of this powerful symbol.

Flag in the Map continues to grow, reaffirming the Rainbow Flag's role in inspiring and supporting LGBTQ+ communities worldwide. For more information about Flag in the Map visit: gilbertbaker.com/flaginthemap/
