On the next Fresh Air, we remember comic actor, writer and director Carl Reiner, who died Monday at age 98.  He created “The Dick Van Dyke Show” and started off as writer and performer on Sid Ceasar’s “Your Show of Shows.”  We’ll listen back to interviews from the archive with Reiner, and his friend Mel Brooks. On the next fresh air, actor Patrick Stewart. This year he returned to the role he’s most famous for, Jean Luc Picard, in the series Star Trek: Picard. He played Picard in several Star Trek films and seven seasons of The Next Generation.  Before that he was a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company. Join us.
