Sister Helen Prejean talks about her spiritual journey from entering the convent in 1957--before Vatican II, to her awakening to social justice movements. Her 2019 memoir is “River of Fire: My Spiritual Journey.” She’s best known for her 1993 memoir “Dead Man Walking” about her work with people on death row.  The book was adapted into a film starring Susan Sarandon.  Join us.
