Coronavirus: What You Need to Know - May 12, 2020
On this edition of Northern California Public Media’s Coronavirus Virtual Town Hall, we speak, as we do every week, with Dr. Sundari Mase, Sonoma County’s Health Officer. There’s lots of new information to share this week about demographics, testing, tracing and parks.

We convene a panel of Latinx leaders to talk about equity during the pandemic and the recovery. Participants include Ana Lugo, founder of Equity First Consulting; Dr. Toni Ramirez, who practices in a Santa Rosa health clinic; and Mara Ventura, Executive Director of North Bay Jobs with Justice.

State Assembly Members Marc Levine and Cecilia Aguilar-Curry talk about the challenges that state government will face as the recovery begins. And Susan Gorin, Chair of the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors talks business reopening and Santa Rosa protests against stay at home restrictions.

From the South Bay, Pamela Lorence reports on contradictory advice that is upsetting business owners poised for a comeback.
