ConnetTheBay 603x452Sunday, September 15 at 5 pm on KRCB TV in the North Bay and KPJK TV in the South Bay. Connect the Bay: Women Leaders Making a Difference focuses on the welcoming climate in the Bay Area for women leaders, despite the fact that gender inequity is a continuing problem here as elsewhere. The Bay Area’s politicians include the woman second in line for the presidency (Rep. Nancy Pelosi) as well as mayors of two of its biggest cities. With an eye on the centenary of women’s suffrage in 2020, we’ll talk with women in education, tech, nonprofits, and politics to learn what battles must still be fought.
