Rolling varieties

I have some friends who have a thousand trees that give brilliant fruit. And they have a season from kind of a Memorial Day through Labor Day, sometimes even longer. And the way they do that is, well, they have something like 30 varieties of that wonderful fruit. Okay, I admit it. It's peaches. Anybody who knows me knows how goofy I am about peaches.

But in order to have a season, you have to have lots of different varieties that ripen and are ready at different times in a kind of rolling way. So, when you fall back in love each year with that wonderful something, fruit, vegetable, who knows what? Remember, it's a bunch of varieties that roll through the season that give you deliciousness.
