Every year, I get very excited when I see pomegranates. I've talked about them a lot. Not as much as I talk about peaches, let's be honest, or cheese, but I love pomegranates. And I've been thinking about them this year because I think about how seasonal they are. They suddenly appear, they're around for a bit, and then they're gone. They're gone, gone, gone. So this year, of course, I've used them in salads, I've used them in pasta, I've used them in a sandwich as a surprise.
They're They're great on fresh cheese, they're great uh stirred into cereal uh with with a little little bit of yogurt for a pop of sweet and tart and luscious. And my new favorite thing, besides eating them in a bathtub, because as a person who only has a shower, I miss a bathtub pomegranate. I'm now sprinkling them over vanilla ice cream, some of which we have here in this county at the highest possible level of deliciousness.
