When I think of farmers markets, I can't help but I think of the middle of summer. You know, all those berries and all those vegetables and all those lettuces and all those wonderful things. But actually, when you think of harvest season, you're talking about November. You're talking about what's there now. And we have had a long, slow, sweet season.
The grapes I'm hearing about are delicious The fruits have been full of flavor. The lettuces, the greens, the the brussel sprouts, all the rest of it has so much vibrant life. This is a time if you've kind of gotten out of the habit for a minute to go back to the farmers market and realize why they call it harvest season. Try some things that you haven't before. Take a little bit more time to talk to a farmer and plan a meal from the goods of our great earth.
