Do we have to worry? We see lots of fields, lots of vineyards where the grapes have been left to rot. We see other vineyards where the vines have been pulled up and piled up to compost or burn or just go away. We have had a few too many grapes and we're in the middle of a recalibration, but do we have to worry? No.
Wine making, wine growing, wine selling isn't going anywhere. And our long history of adjusting to the new agricultural reality is going to take us where we need to go. We've had hops and prunes and apples and potatoes and lots of delicious plums and grapes and we're going to have a lot that's good forever.
