On July 23rd, protestors gathered to call on the SonomaCounty Board of Supervisors. Their demand? Begin a process that could lead the county to divest taxpayers’ moneyfrom the two banks. But when do ethics overpower financial incentives?Activists may call for divestment, but the county treasury is concerned aboutthe loss of revenue. KRCB’s Isabella Bloom has the story.
