Dave Alvin chats with Brian on Morning Music

dave pic fwd Dave Alvin is no stranger to NorCal and he's back with three shows this summer.  Growing up in Downey in Southern California, he learned his craft by seeing all the blues greats. He and brother Phil formed the Blasters in the seventies, and he's had many bands since including the Guilty Ones, Dave and Jimmie Dale Gilmore, and the Third Mind.  He talks with Brian about song structure, great singers and more.
