Health care services for migrant farm workers in California, says Seth Holmes, are sparse, overburdened and underfunded. All of which is a natural outcome from the way our for-profit medical system is structured.

   The passage and rollout of the Affordable Care Act across America has been an enormous benefit to low-income households that previously had no health insurance.  But Holmes observes that there is also a downside to the measure.
