Sonoma County Regional Parks offers a Free Family Nature Walk on Saturday, December 19th from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM. At Spring Lake Regional Park, a park naturalist will lead this family hike through the park and share knowledge of the area’s plants and wildlife.

On this week’s “Crash Course,” Anthony Garcia and the Lexicon of Sustainability explain how local farmers are rejecting patented, engineered seeds.

This week concludes with a “Sustainable Moment” focusing on the new face of the Grange movement in agriculture.
