fft_logo.jpgAIDS and HIV don't make headlines much any more, but that doesn't mean they have gone away. So Food for Thought, the Sonoma County AIDS Food Bank is working to feed just as many people  as ever.
You can find a more detailed history of Food For Thought on the agency's website.

A sizable share of the clients served by Food For Thought have special dietary needs that correspond to their medical conditions, and Deputy Executive Director Rachel Gardner says they make every effort to meet those needs.
One of Food For Thought's major annulafundraising events, the Calabash gourd art auction is coming around again on Sunday, Oct. 3.
Calabash is more than a fund-raiser for Food For Thought, Gardner says. It also often serves as an intoduction between the non-profit and people who go on to become more involved with it.

Another yearly benefit event, Dining Out for Lifecomes around again on the first Thursday after Thanksgiving, which this year will be Dec. 2.
