  • Disaster Aid Now Available For Walbridge Fire Recovery

    Fire CamSonoma County residents can now apply for federal disaster aid to cover financial losses due to the Walbridge fire. According to the latest Cal Fire estimates, the Walbridge fire destroyed more than 261 structures in the County - 141 of which were homes. Federal aid will cover losses related to the fire that are not covered by insurance and is limited to 35,500 per household. KRCB’s Adia White spoke with Kristopher Lopez, Disaster Relief Attorney at Legal Aid of Sonoma County. Lopez explains the types of aid available and changes to the application process this year.
