Heading into the last days of the 2024/2025 school year, it's been a tumultuous one for Santa Rosa City Schools, the largest public school district in Sonoma County. A yawning budget deficit, declining enrollment, the closure of at least four school campuses and leadership issues prompted a multitude of late night meetings and consequential decisions.
