Today Center for Disease Control and Prevention decided Pfizer boosters should first go to people who received the first two Pfizer vaccines and are 65 and older, nursing home residents and people between the ages of 50 and 64 that have underlying health problems. 
A UC Berkeley Infectious disease specialist explains boosters and why people that got Moderna shouldn't be worried about the extra wait. But for J&J recipients, it's more urgent:
