The California HOPE crisis counseling program ended on June 30th. The program was funded by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to help survivors cope with trauma after the October wildfires. KRCB’s Adia White spoke with California HOPE project manager Wendy Wheelwright about the work that remains to be done.
