SMART Train 2017 Santa Rosa wikimedia resizeIn 2009, Santa Rosa created a state-mandated plan that looked ahead to the year 2035. The plan made certain assumptions, and was created to optimize the city’s chance to thrive.
That was before the annexation of Roseland, and before the fires of two years ago. Now, the process has begun again, with planners looking ahead to the Santa Rosa of 2050.
KRCB news director Steve Mencher spoke with Supervising Planner Jessica Jones to find out how the process is going.
