There is still time to reserve your stay!
With over 250 sites in 6 different parks Sonoma County has everything from huge pull-through RV sites to group areas; cozy tent sites with great views. There are hike-in/bike-in sites, disabled access, and remote environmental backpacking sites. Many sites are reservable, with some available on a first come-first served basis.

Common accommodations include restrooms within walking distance, potable water, hot showers, fire rings, picnic tables, nearby access to trails and other natural features to kickstart daytime adventures and exploration.
Reservations can be made 3 days to as much as 1-year in advance. The earlier you reserve, the better your chance of ending up with a campsite that matches your interests and needs.

Doran Beach, Stillwater Cove and Gualala fill up just about every weekend in summer with some openings during the week, but in July we’re often full even in mid-week too, so it's definitely a good idea to book early.

The 24/7 reservation system makes selecting a site a simple process. Enter your desired dates and campground, and within seconds a color-coded campground map appears, showing you which sites are available. Just click on a specific site to see comprehensive information, like size and number of tent pads, RV parking dimensions, the distance to the showers and restrooms, and much more. You can even view a photo of a specific site. Once you determine the dates and campsite you want, you move on to completing registration and payment—and that’s it.
We encourage people to look at the campground map when planning a stay. We want everyone to have as much insight as possible before making the reservation.

If you're not a planner, we also have a limited number of first-come, first-served campsites. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday seem to be the best days to grab one of those, although nothing is guaranteed so getting a reservation is always the best tactic.
