If you plan on visiting Muir Woods this summer avoid going at peak times, that's between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., or consider public transportation. Find other tips at the National Park Service's website.

NPS and Marin County Board of Supervisors will be hosting a public informational meeting on traffic progress on Tuesday, June 14 at 10:30 a.m. at the Marin County Civic Center.
