The theme for National Women’s History Month this year is “Weaving the Stories of Women’s Lives,” It will focus on the lives and accomplishments of nine women who made their mark during the 35 year existence of the National Women’s History Project. Molly Murphy MacGregor, the Executive Director and co-founder of the organization , explains that the six living honorees are still active and inspirational.

Women’s History Month has grown into an  international observation, but later this year, MacGregor says her Project, which has remained based in Santa Rosa for its entire 35 years, will hold an event to recognize their local supporters here at home.
