Sukovitzen is opposed to the current state parks plan to rebuild the water pipeline that runs the 1.1 mile length of Armstrong Grove. But he says an earlier proposal was even worse.

At the informal public meetings about the pipeline plan, held in Monte Rio in October and November, quite a few alternatives to the State Parks proposal were suggested. Environmental Coordinator Patricia Dumont runs through them.
