Finding Solutions to Homelessness: Bridging the Disconnect between Service Providers and the Business Community

In Guerneville, California, the banks of the Russian River have become a gathering place for those facing homelessness. The homeless population in Guerneville is four times the per capita rate of San Francisco, and three times the national average. A winter shelter program exists at the local Veteran’s Hall, but there is no shelter is offered during the rest of the year.
