Winter Bird Observing | Bay Area Bountiful

During the winter season the Bay Area plays an important role for birds.  At this time, bird watchers all around our region migrate to their favorite viewing spots to marvel at the increased numbers of many species.  Teen Alex Cho leads his family through the bay marshes at Fremont's Coyote Hills Regional Park and takes advantage of the latest online resources to keep track of his sightings.  A role model of his, SF Bay Bird Observatory biologist Alvaro Jaramillio, visits the coast just south of Half Moon Bay to observe seasonal changes there.  Everywhere, winter is on the wing!
