KRISTINA HILL, (Associate Professor of UC Berkeley Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning and Urban Design) is a theorist, designer and planner who specializes in the application of ecological and geomorphological principles in urban adaptation to sea level rise and other climate change trends. She has worked on major adaptation plans for New Orleans, the mid‐Atlantic coast, and Seattle. Her current work is on identifying adaptation opportunities in the San Francisco Bay Area, with a focus on biodiversity, infrastructure strategies, new development approaches, and social justice.
