We have recently been informed by MHz Networks that they are ceasing their agreements with ALL public media stations across the country and will be going exclusively to streaming their content (through services like Apple TV, Roku, etc.) on February 29, 2020 at 9pm (Pacific). You may be able to access some MHz programming via “Hoopla,” a streaming service provided to your public library.
We were surprised by MHz’s decision and have been working on finding a replacement for MHz’s programming on both 60.1 (main channel prime time) and 60.4 (24/7 channel). We are pleased to announce that we will be airing the outstanding programming from Deutsche Welle (DW), the German public international broadcast network. Since 1953, DW has been airing programming dedicated to promoting understanding between cultures. We hope that you find the programming on DW to be as timely and as fascinating as we do.
