The summer months can be challenging for low-income working families struggling to feed their children when access to free or reduced cost school lunch is lost. The Redwood Empire Food Bank aims to alleviate summer hunger by offering free and healthy lunches to Sonoma County children 18 years of age and younger through their Summer Lunch program. Summer Lunch operates Monday through Friday at program sites strategically located at parks, schools, libraries and apartment complexes throughout Sonoma County. For a complete list of Summer Lunch sites please visit refb.org, or call 2-1-1.
