From now through Sept. 30 the Petaluma Historical Museum’s exhibit “I Do!” is displaying vintage wedding dresses donated from local families. The dresses come in all shapes (for the most part extremely slim) and colors, revealing a different time, a different mindset (who knew brides from the late 1800s wanted to be married in purple?) and, in many cases, nuggets of local history.
